For a while now, I’ve felt like a part of me has been sleeping.
The creative spark that once flowed so freely began to dim. My ideas felt too out there, too bold, or just… not enough. I started second-guessing myself. The thoughts came in quietly at first, then grew louder:
“You’re not qualified.”
“Someone else could say it better.”
“You’ll look foolish.”
Can I just tell you how silly that is?
God gave me a gift—a way of thinking outside the box, a love of technology, and a passion to connect, create, and encourage. That creativity is not a coincidence. It’s not just a “quirky trait.” It’s a calling.
And I buried it.
Maybe you’ve done the same. Maybe there’s a gift, a dream, or a part of your spirit that’s been quieted by fear, insecurity, or just the busyness of life.
But here’s the beautiful truth:
What God plants, He never forgets.
Even if you’ve let your creativity, your voice, your purpose go dormant, it’s not gone. It’s not too late. And it’s not too small.
God is in the business of awakening—bringing dead things to life, calling dry bones to dance, and reminding us who we are in Him.
Today, I’m choosing to awaken the parts of me I’ve let fall asleep. To stop apologizing for the way God made me. To steward the gifts He’s entrusted to me. And I want to invite you to do the same. Here are three verses for you to study, meditate, and pray over!
